The are releasing two versions Stencil & Silkscreen print onto stained Oak Veneer and Aluminium, both editions of 25 and priced at £205 each. Get em while you can.
A certain number will be available as sets online.
Each print will vary a little depending on which one of the is printing
and they reckon it's impossible to find 2 bits of veneer the same!
Each piece is definitely unique...

Oh Death launches a new night in Dalston on the 5th of December featuring a night of musical hidden treasures and guilty pleasures spanning the past five decades.
DJing on the night will be Jim Sharp (Hear Nu Evil, Mookie), The J&D Sessions (Pin Up) and Oh-Death. We will be playing a selection of old skool hip-hop, nu-disco, bumpin' house, electronica and rock.

OTP's 'IT'S GRIM UP NORTH'
Our friends from OTP present 'It's Grim Up North'
an exhibition of works and installations by ONE TRICK PONY in association with Stussy UK and Gimme5.
This is the first time the public will be able to see the OTP artists work together in a collective show. Their current line-up of artists and designers deliver an array of contemporary artwork/illustration on canvas, digital print, motion graphics/animation and 3-d installation.

Shake It: An Instant History of the Polaroid

From the lyrics of OutKast’s pop anthem Hey Ya to clues laid out for the amnesiac protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s film Memento, the Polaroid has had a significant impact on contemporary culture. ‘Shake It: An instant History of the Polaroid’ brings to light some of the more intriguing and innovative examples in the history of the Polaroid photograph, exploring its cultural significance and the diversity of its applications. Besides work by some of the most important artists working with the medium, the show will also include Polaroids from other diverse professions and disciplines such as forensics, archaeology, medicine, filmmaking and fashion, as well as those of amateurs and enthusiasts.
Many of the works in this exhibition have never been shown in the UK before such as Michael Snow’s play on the immediacy of the image, Authorization, the mutilated, distorted, blurred self portraits by Lucas Samaras, who discovered the malleability of the format’s wet dyes and Guy Bourdin’s intimate, small-scale surreal visions.
Other highlights include David Hockney’s large composite Polaroid Nicholas Wilder Studying Picasso. Los Angeles 24th March 1982, which references the stylisation and methods of the cubists, Andy Warhol’s still-lifes of perfume bottles and shoes; the photographs that an avid shoe collector sticks on to her shoeboxes for ease of identification; portraits of Richard Hamilton who, since 1968, has invited artist friends including Warhol, Francis Bacon, Robert Rauschenberg and Man Ray to photograph him; Polaroids of casting sessions from leading model agency Storm; Araki's suggestively sumptuous flower pictures, and the film made by Charles and Ray Eames’s in 1972 advertising the legendary leather panelled SX-70 model.
With the last batch of Polaroid film set to expire in October 2009, ‘Shake It’ is a timely exhibition that captures the aesthetic, conceptual and practical potential of an iconographic photographic format that is on the verge of extinction.

This unique venue offers the opportunity for you, the viewer to observe from behind glass or get down and dirty with the artists painting LIVE! (Protective masks are available on the door)

RCA SECRET IS 15!
RCA Secret is an annual exhibition and sale of original postcard-sized art, made by professional artists, designers and illustrators, plus the Royal College of Art’s current postgraduate students.
This year’s exhibition of over 2,000 pieces includes work by the renowned artists Gerhard Richter, Bill Viola, Julian Opie and Grayson Perry.
Open at the Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, London SW7 2EU from Friday 13 November until Friday 20 November 11-6pm, 11-8pm on Thursday 19 November. Free admission.
THE SECRET
The postcards are signed only on the reverse, so the author of each work remains a secret until after purchase, and the signature on the back is revealed.
Over 800 artists have donated work to RCA Secret 2009 so far, including Yoko Ono, Cornelia Parker, David Bailey, former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire, and animator Nick Park, as well as fashion designers Sir Paul Smith, Manolo Blahnik and Erdem. Many leading American artists have also contributed this year including Lawrence Weiner, John Baldessari and Alex Katz.
THE SALE
The cards, priced just £40 each, will be sold to the public in a huge one-day Sale on Saturday 21 November, 8am-6pm. You must register in advance of the Sale.
ROBERT CRUMB UNCOVERED
Robert Crumb, otherwise known as R. Crumb, is one of the leading figures of the 1966/ 67 underground comic movement. Philadelphia-born Crumb exploded onto the scene in the late 60's, heralding a renaissance of underground sex and drug comics. His LSD-inspired characters Fritz the Cat and Mr. Natural quickly established him as a counter-culture icon.

The exhibition will feature all the iconic characters including; Fritz the Cat and Mr. Natural. Frisky Fritz the Cat is up to his old tricks in 'Fritz the No-Good'. An original drawing for the cover of Motorcity Comics features a typically Amazonian Crumb woman, putting the boot into a bulky New York cop. His rendering of a 'girl commando' has a visceral impact as she shouts Join the world - family revolution or die!!! A drawing of legendary singer and comic book fan Janis Joplin, singing into a phallic microphone, is printed on a sheet of acid tabs and signed by Timothy Leary.
"I had this big change in 1965 and 66 and it was visionary you know. I took this weird drug. Supposedly it was LSD but it had a really weird effect where it made my brain all fuzzy...I started getting these images of cartoon characters I'd never seen before, and drawing these stream of consciousness comic strips." Robert Crumb
Crumb's iconic character 'Mr. Natural' is featured in "on the bum again", a strip where a cowgirl lasso's him, sits on top of him and demands 'Just tell me real quick what the secret of the Universe is". This interest in the universe illustrates his spiritual leanings, which have come to the foreground with the recent international publication of his latest and most epic project - an illustration of The book of Genesis. Hardcore fans may be surprised by his new topic, although this time it's not a satire, it's a beautiful depiction of the Bible in the mould of William Blake that he created over a period of 5 years, in isolation in a shepherd's hut in rural France. The original Genesis pages will be on display in The Bible Illuminated: R. Crumb's book of Genesis at the Hammer Museum in LA from 24 October 2009 to 7 February 2010. Crumb was raised as a Catholic and admits that he believes in God, and spiritual forces in the Universe. Maybe the psychedelic sex-obsessed Crumb of the 60's and 70's has mellowed in his old age.
The exhibition at Scream Gallery will be part of Comica, the London International Comics Festival, which takes place at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) from 5-26 November.
